Calgary Humane Society – Dog Jog

On Sunday, June 8, the Calgary Humane Society will be having their 2014 Dog Jog.  The walking club has participated in the fund raiser in the past and we thought it would be fun to participate again this year.

The event will take place at South Glenmore Park (Map included below).  The Event Schedule is as follows:

  • 10:00 a.m. Registration Opens (Pledges to be turned in at the registration tent)
  • 11:00 a.m. — Opening Ceremonies
  • 11:30 a.m. Kick-off
  • 12:00 p.m. Food & entertainment back at festival site
  • 1:00 p.m. Prize ceremony & awards

SPECIAL EVENT: CALGARY HUMANE SOCIETY – DOG JOG

DATE AND TIME:  Sunday June 8, 2014 (Let’s meet at the east end of the booths at 11 a.m.)

LOCATION:  South Glenmore Park

DETAILS:  The route will be marked out for us.  We just have to follow the pack.

NOTE:   The last couple of years it has been raining.  Please note that this walk will happen rain or shine, sleet or snow.  Cross your fingers for good weather.
