The Calgary Greyhound walking club had a fabulous turn out for the New Years Day walk on January 1st, 2020 in Fish Creek Park!
Thanks to the many long retired and newly adopted hounds who came out with their families to ring in the new year! That was fun!
Thanks, as well, to one of our walkers, Lewis, who took some amazing pictures of the group that day. A few of those pictures will be on the website shortly for you to enjoy!
The Family Day long weekend is fast approaching and since it looks like the temperature in Calgary will hover around the 0C mark, we thought it might be another greyt opportunity to get out as a group for some fresh air and a stretch.
Many of our usual walking areas in and around the city are still covered in ice and snow so we will walk in Confederation Park. This NW park usually has well plowed paths and is in a natural bowl to protect us from the wind.
Join us, if you can, on Sunday, February 16th at noon. We can celebrate our four legged members of the family and a belated Valentine’s Day 😁
Hope to see you there!
DATE AND TIME: SUNDAY, February 16, 2020 at noon
