The weather has been so chaotic of late that it was almost 1 month without being able to get together. We missed our New Years Day walk due to frigid temperatures. Finally, January 12, 2014 we were able to get out and stretch our legs. The group met at South Glenmore Park. It was a beautiful day. The sun was out as were several hounds, all vibrating to get going. Tippy (a blind Greyt fostered by Lorraine) joined the group walking the entire route. Way to go Tippy!
At one point along the route we travel through the middle of some birch trees. They were beautiful the way they leaned in creating a canvas over the path. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful parks in and around Calgary.
Stay tuned for our next walk and a Greyt big Happy New Year everyone!
